GETTING THERE
Air, sea or land - these are the three basic ways to get to, and around Alaska. Most fly into the The Land of the Midnight Sun, others come by cruise line or state ferry ( Alaska Marine Highway System ), some by rail, and a few arrive by highway.
Soldotna's Municipal Airport is next to the Kenai River about 1 mile from downtown Soldotna.
The Kenai Spur Highway connects Soldotna with Kenai, and the Sterling Highway links Soldotna with both Homer and Seward and a junction with the Seward Highway leading to Anchorage.
